Volume Vision Effective Date: May 4, 2026
Overview
Volume Vision is designed to keep your data on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information.
Data That Stays On Your Device
All of the following remain entirely on your hardware:
- RGB and LiDAR depth captures
- Annotations (bounding boxes and polygon masks)
- Trained machine learning models and training history
- Exported CoreML model files
- App settings and preferences
None of this data is transmitted to any server.
Device Permissions
Volume Vision requests the following permissions, each of which you can decline:
- Camera and LiDAR — Required to capture RGB images and depth data for annotation and training.
- Photo Library — Used to save and import capture images.
- Microphone — Requested for planned audio classification features. Not active in the current release.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not collect analytics or usage data.
- We do not use tracking or advertising frameworks.
- We do not display ads.
- We do not require account creation.
- We do not share data with third parties.
- We do not use cookies.
Data Storage
All data is stored locally in the app’s sandboxed container on your device. Removing the app removes all associated data.
Children’s Privacy
Volume Vision does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date.
